Disconnect the X-COP 8700 from the PC once the Update has been completed.

By using USB memory (OTG feature)
X-COP 8700 can update the Firmware/voice/database, by using the USB memory.
Please note, supported file system on USB memory is FAT16 and FAT32. Other file system does not
supported.
The update method of X-COP 8700 is as follows
2.1.
Copy "XXXXX.efm"or“XXXXX.voi”or“XXXXX.db”files(what you need –if there is new version), to the
removabledisk (USB memory).
2.2.
Please connect USB memory to the X-COP8700 by using USB OTG gender. And then power on.
(Afterthen, the following processes will be done automatically.)
2.2.1.
If USB memory has firmware file, then firware will be updated.
Display is as follow
When firmware updating is complete, “OK” will be displayed.
2.2.2.
If USB memory has voice file, then voice will be updated
Display is as follow
When voice updating is complete, “OK” will be displayed
2.2.3.
If USB memory has database file, then database will be updated.
Display is as follow
When database updating is complete, “OK” will be displayed.
2.3.
After updating the firware/voice/database file will be deleted.
