Applications, Widgets, and Shortcuts
Application
– Software which allows you to perform or install. Your device is
preloaded with a variety of applications.
Shortcut
– A link that you can put on your Home screen to provide quicker access to
an application or a folder containing contacts or bookmarks.
Widget
– A small application which resides on the Home screen and provides quick
and easy access to information.
You can also add the desired applications to your Home screen. You can add items
such as application icon, shortcuts, data folders, and widgets to have quicker access
