INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE, BEFORE USE
INSPECTION
•
Check the facial part for completeness, damages and correct assembly.
•
Damaged or faulty parts should be replaced, before the head piece is used.
•
Special attention should be paid so that the facial part adheres tightly to your face.
•
Check all inhalation valves for signs of cracking or wear.
•
Make sure the head piece straps are not damaged.
•
Check all plastic parts for cracking or fatigue.
PUTTING ON THE HALF MASK
a)
Before the half mask is put on, correctly install absorbers/filters.
b)
When installing, follow instructions for the absorber/filter.
c)
Loosen up flexible straps. Place the head cradle on the crown of your head.
d)
Place the bottom straps behind your neck and hook them together. Next, pull the strap ends so that the mask fits
securely and comfortably your face.
FITTING TO YOUR FACE
Put your hand over the cover of the exhalation valve and exhale slightly. If the facial part blows up slight and air does not leak
between your face and the facial part of the half mask, it means that adhesion is correct.
ACTIVITIES DURING USE
Do not take off the facial part and disconnect cleaning elements, before a polluted area is left.
If the air flow is interrupted or reduced during use, withdraw from the hazard zone and check for causes.
WARNINGS
Long facial hair, moustache, beard or long sideburns are in the way to obtain required tightness of the half mask,
because it does not fit precisely to the face.
The equipment is not intended to be used in explosion hazard atmosphere.
When working with open fire or liquid droplets of metal, serious risk may occur due to the possibility of ignition of
carbon contained in cleaning elements, which may produce a high level of toxic substances.
Storage in conditions other than specified by the manufacturer may influence the storage period duration.
Exercise caution, when the equipment is used in low temperatures, since accumulating moisture may result in the
freezing of valves.
ACTIVITIES AFTER USE
It is recommended to clean the mask after each use.
Once the absorber/filter is removed, wipe off dust and clean with a moist cloth. Next, disassembly elements of the half mask
and wash with warm water and mild cleaning agent (do not use solvents/detergents). The inhalation and exhalation valves
should be cleaned with special care, rinsed under running water and left to dry.
Once dried, individual elements of the half mask should be reassembled.
