2. If the measured circuit has a gap or the measuring probes
are not connected, the „OL” symbol will appear on the
display.
3. Before resistance is measured, make sure the circuit is de-
energised and all capacities are discharged.
WARNING
Do not take measurements on live circuits.
Measuring continuity
1. Connect the black measuring wire to the „ COM ” socket of
the meter and the red wire to the „ „ socket
(polarity of the red wire is positive „+”).
2. Set the function and range switch to the „ „ position.
3. Select the continuity measurement using the „ RANGE ”
button. The symbol should appear on the display.
4. Connect the measuring probes to the points, in which
continuity of a circuit is to be measured.
5. The internal speaker will indicate resistance below 30Ω.
Testing a diode
1. Connect the black measuring wire to the „ COM ” socket of
the meter and the red wire to the „ „ socket
(polarity of the red wire is positive „+”).
2. Set the function and range switch to the „ „
position.
3. Select the diode test using the „
RANGE
” button. The
should appear on the display.
4. Connect the measuring probes. The red probe should be
connected with the positive pole (anode), while the black
probe with the negative pole (cathode) of the diode.
5. The meter will show forward voltage of the diode. If the
measuring probes are connected the other way round, the
„OL” symbol will appear on the display.
WARNING
Do not take measurement on a live circuit.
AUTOMATIC SWITCHING OFF
If the meter is not used for 15 minutes, the meter will switch
off automatically. Press any button to switch on the meter
again.
MAINTENANCE
The meter casing should be wiped periodically with a cloth
and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive materials and
solvents. Before cleaning, switch off the meter and disconnect
all measurement wires.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
When the symbol appears on the display, it shows that
the battery should be replaced. To replace the battery, use an
appropriate screwdriver to gently rotate the rotary lock on the
battery cover by 90o in the indicated direction. Remove battery
cover, replace the exhausted batteries with new batteries of the
same type ( „AAA” type ). Reinstall the battery cover, and gently
rotate the rotary lock by 90o clockwise to lock the battery cover.
Important
If excessive force is applied, when the battery compartment
lid screw is tightened, it can be damaged. Do not use too small
a screwdriver to loosen the battery compartment lid screw.

Цифровые клещи-мультиметр предназначены для
измерения постоянного и переменного тока. Кроме того,
мультиметр позволяет проводить измерения постоянного
и переменного напряжения, сопротивления, а также
осуществлять проверку диодов. Мультиметр отвечает
требованиям стандарта МЭК 61010 „Безопасность
электрического оборудования для измерения, управления
и лабораторного применения”. Категория мультиметра по
перенапряжению –
CAT II 600 В, категория пылезащиты – 2.
ВНИМАНИЕ
Во избежание поражения электрическим током и
телесных повреждений рекомендуется соблюдать
указания, приведенные в данной инструкции.
a. Не работайте с поврежденным мультиметром.
Проверьте корпус прибора перед началом работы.
Обращайте особое внимание на изоляцию вокруг
щупов.
b. Приступая к измерению, проверьте целостность
измерительных проводов и щупов, а также их
изоляцию на наличие повреждений. Поврежденные
провода и щупы требуют замены.
c. Запрещается работать с мультиметром, если его работа
отличается от нормальной и есть подозрения на
наличие повреждения изоляции или неправильного
ремонта.
d. Не работайте с мультиметром в среде
легковоспламеняющихся газов, водного пара и пыли.
e. Не разрешается измерять напряжение, выходящее за
пределы диапазона, указанного на мультиметре.
