OPERATION OF THE DEVICE
Prepare for operation switch-on switch-off
Make sure the stapler has no visible damage before starting work. Check
that the battery is charged. Load the staples or nails specified by the
manufacturer into the feeder, and suitable for the work you will be doing.
To operate the stapler it must be switched on with the main switch on the
back of the handle fig. A4 to position I. Only after this is it possible to
operate the trigger Fig. A2. To switch off the stapler the main switch fig.
A4 must be set to position 0.
Magazine loading
With this cordless stapler, you can use 4-10 mm long staples or 10 mm
long nails.
•
Squeeze the staple feeder catch fig A6 on the back of the tool
towards the centre of the magazine and pull out the staple feeder.
NOTE: Once the staple or nail strip is placed in the feeder, it will be
pressed down by the spring. Hold the catch firmly to prevent the feeder
from suddenly ejecting from the tool.
•
Place the staple strip as shown in Fig. C1.
•
Place the nail strip as shown in fig. C2 on the side of the magazine
that is marked with the corresponding symbol fig. C3
•
Push the staple feeder forward until you hear a distinct click, the
staple feeder is then secured.
•
Figure A8 shows an inspection hole to check the number of staples,
nails in the feeder.
Charging the battery
•
Only charge the stapler with a charger that meets the charging
prameters specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable
for one type of battery may present a fire risk when used with
another device.
•
Check the charger and the cable plug before use. Do not use the
charger if defects are found. Do not open the charger yourself and
have it repaired only by qualified personnel.
•
Do not operate the charger on easily flammable surfaces (e.g.
paper, textiles, etc.) or in a combustible environment. There is a risk
of fire due to overheating of the charger or battery during charging.
•
To charge the battery pack, use a power supply that meets the
specifications shown in the rating table. The USB cable must be
connected to the port fig. A5. On the front of the device, fig. A1,
there is a light indicating the battery charge status.
•
The red light only comes on when the battery is being charged to
signal the charging process
•
Green light Battery charged
When the battery charge control indicator Fig. A1 lights up red
during operation, the battery capacity is below 30% and the battery
should be recharged.
Working with a stapler
The tool has protection against unintentional operation:
•
The contact switch fig. A7 ensures that the stapler is only actuated
when in contact with the surface of the material. The contact switch
fig. A7 "sinks" into the stapler so that it is flush with the underside of
the stapler. Only then can the trigger be released and the staple or
nail can be driven in.
•
Firmly place the stapler on the material and press the trigger Fig.
A2.
•
The extra pressure applied to the front of the tool will prevent recoil
and increase the force applied to the nails or staples. This is
particularly important to ensure that the nail or staple is driven
through the entire material especially into a hard surface.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
•
Keep the machine's ventilation slots clean to prevent the engine
from overheating.
•
Clean the machine housing regularly with a soft cloth, preferably
after each use. If the dirt does not come off, use a soft cloth
dampened with soapy water. Never use solvents such as petrol,
alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These solvents can damage plastic
parts.
•
Keep it out of the reach of children, in a stable and secure position.
The place should be cool and dry, avoid too high or too low
temperatures.
