PROTECTION FROM FIRE AND EXPLOSION:
• Battery may produce gaseous hydrogen (detonating gas) during charging. Contact with open flame
(fire, embers, sparks) may cause explosion.
• Do not charge a battery near open flame or wherever sparks can occur.
• Always provide good ventilation.
• To avoid damage of the charger, make sure the supply voltage matches the voltage defined on the
rating plate of the device.
• Connect and disconnect cables of the battery only when the charger is disconnected from the power
mains network.
• Do not cover the device when charging, because it may get hot and damaged.
• In case of fire or abnormal odour switch off the device immediately.
• Do not use the device in rooms, where flammable or explosive materials are stored (e.g. petrol or
solvents).
• Do not recharge disposable batteries, damaged or frozen batteries.
• Do not use the device to charge dry cells. They may crack, causing injuries and property damage.
• Read and observe instructions from the manual and all safety manuals of charged batteries and of the
vehicle before using the charger.
• Do not place the device on the charged battery or close to it. Gas produced by the battery may damage
the device.
• Place the device as far from the battery as the cables allow.
•
Do not use the device after dropping or with any damage. Entrust checks and repair to qualified electrician.
ELECTRIC SHOCK PROTECTION:
• Battery chargers may affect operation of active electronic implants, e.g. pacemakers,
therefore causing
hazards for personal health.
•
The device is resistant to splashing and water jets.
However, always keep it in a safe location and avoid
pouring and dripping water over the device. Ingress of water inside electric devices increases risk of
electric shock.

All plugs and cables must be dry.
Do not connect the device to power supply network with wet or humid
hands.
• Do not touch both clamps simultaneously
when the device is operating.
• Before connecting or disconnecting cables to battery, or when the device is not used for a long time,
disconnect the device from mains network.
• Before starting the vehicle, remove all device cables from the battery.
• Hold the plug when disconnecting the device from mains network. Otherwise may cause damage to the
power cord.
• Do not use damaged device. Risk of electric shock is increased when the power cord, device or charging
cables are damaged.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device by yourself.
Immediately repair or replace faulty
device or damaged power cord in a specialized workshop.
• Short circuit risk!
When the plug is in the mains network socket, do not allow two charging cable clamps
to have contact. Do not connect clamps or battery terminals with electrically conducting objects (e.g. tools).

Do not carry or pull the device when holding by its power cord.
CAUTION: Before using the device make sure to read and understand all safety information in the instruction
manuals of the battery and the vehicle.
MAINTENANCE:
Before maintenance disconnect the device from electric power supply.
Make sure the device is disconnected
from power supply, only then you can start maintenance tasks. All other uses and modifications of the device
are considered improper and introduce significant risk. The manufacturer disclaims any responsibility for
damages resulting from improper use.
