THE STATUS MONITOR
Computers running Windows 95, 98, or Windows 2000 can
receive printer status on their screen with the SuperScript
1400 Status Monitor. The Status Monitor is automatically
loaded to your pc when you select Easy Install during your
initial installation. But it can be loaded anytime from the
SuperScript 1400 Series Solutions CD.
note:
The Status Monitor cannot be used to monitor
printers connected through a network or serial
connection.
You can choose to have the Status Monitor displayed in
maximized view
(A) or in minimized view (B) .
The Status Monitor first comes up in minimized view. To
maximize the view, left-click on the Status Monitor icon
(found on Windows task bar). For options, right-click on the
icon.
The table below explains messages that can appear in the
maximized Status Monitor.
Use the Preferences tab to choose between
Status Monitor views.
