RELOCATION AND STORAGE OF DISK EXPANSION UNIT
WARNING
Observe the following instructions to use the Disk Expansion Unit safely.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in death or serious personal
injury. Refer to the Safety Notes section for more information.
„ Do not disassemble, repair, or alter the Disk Expansion Unit.
„ Disconnect the power plug before working with the Disk Expansion Unit.
„ Do not lift the unit by its handle or front bezel.
CAUTION
Observe the following instructions to use the Disk Expansion Unit safely.
Failure to follow these instructions may cause personal burn or injury and/or
physical damages. Refer to the Safety Notes section for more information.
„ Do not attempt to lift the Disk Expansion Unit by yourself.
„ Do not install the Disk Expansion Unit halfway.
„ Do not install the Disk Expansion Unit without its cover.
„ Do not pinch your fingers with components.
„ Note that some components may be very hot.
IMPORTANT:
„ If the Disk Expansion Unit needs to be relocated or
stored in a completely different place than the one
originally determined, contact your sales agent.
„ Make a backup copy of the important data saved on the
hard disks.
„
Carry the Disk Expansion Unit carefully. Avoid any
shocks to the chassis and the hard disks inside.

See the section "Pulling Out from Rack" to take out the Disk Expansion Unit from the
rack. Make sure to work with another person.
2.
Package the Disk Expansion Unit securely so that the chassis may not be damaged or
sustain excess shocks and/or vibrations.
