When the inner rail attached to the equipment 
does not slide easily into the outer rail slot, 
loosen an outer rail attachment screw, try 
again and secure the screw only once the 
inner and outer rails positions are finely tuned 
(see the above figure). 

 

Moreover, it can help to push the outer rail 
slightly towards the inside of the rack while 
inserting the equipment (see the figure to the 
left).
