[ftp] get SWITCH.app
[ftp] bye
<QX>copy SWITCH.app slot2#flash:/
2) Specify the Boot ROM software for all member switches used at next-startup.
<QX> bootrom update file SWITCH.app slot 1
<QX> bootrom update file slot2#flash:/SWITCH.app slot 2
<QX> reboot
Before restarting the switch, make sure other configurations are all saved to avoid the loss
of configuration information.
Therefore specification of the Boot ROM software used at next-startup is completed. To
confirm the upgrade of Boot ROM software, restart the switch. After a load of Boot ROM
software has been completed when space of a flash memory isn't enough, it's possible to
delete several files in the flash memory. It's recommended to delete the Boot ROM software
which isn't used. Upload Boot ROM software using a FTP. Power interruption is not allowed
during Boot ROM software loading.
6.7.2 Upgrade of Boot ROM software by TFTP
The remote loading by using TFTP is similar to the remote loading by using FTP. The only
difference is that it is TFTP that you use when loading Boot ROM software to the switch. In
this case, the switch can only be used as a TFTP client. The remaining step after download
is just same as the occasion of the remote load with a FTP.
