Locating minitower expansion slots
Installing an Expansion Board
Install expansion boards in the system as follows.
1.
Remove the system unit cover.
2.
Follow any preinstallation instructions that come with
the expansion board (such as setting switches or jumpers
on the board).
3.
If installing a board in the inside expansion slot (next to
the power supply) in the desktop system, see “Installing
an Expansion Board in the Inside Slot.” Otherwise,
continue to the next step.
4.
Remove the screw securing an expansion slot cover and
remove the cover.
Save the screw for installing the expansion board. Save
the slot cover for future use.
