2. Setting Up Your Projector

4.  Install the lens cover onto the projector.

NOTE:
•  If NP-9LS08ZM1 is used on your projector, pay enough attention 

since the lens is exposed.

•  If the cover is not installed properly, error will be issued.  Securely 

set 5 claws into the position on the projector.

5.  Mount the lens hood. (For NP-9LS08ZM1 only) 

NOTE:
•  Make sure to mount the lens hood for protecting the lens.
  Turn the lens hood for mounting and fasten it by the fixing screw.

6.  Lock the lens cover using the service key.

Lens unit removal method

NOTE:
•  Power off the projector and pull out the power plug from the wall 

outlet.

•  Wait for a certain time to completely cool down the projector and 

then remove the lens cover.

Perform the mounting procedures reversely for removing the 
lens unit.

•  For removing the lens unit from the projector, press down 

and  hold  the  release  lever,  turn  the  lens  unit  counter-
clockwise by its turn end and then slowly pull the unit out 
straight.
