External Music Equipment (continued)

• An AUSTEL-approved isolator must always be included between the Music Source and the PABX trunk.
• If a D.C. voltage is supplied together with the audio from the external music equipment, a coupling capacitor

must be added as shown in Figure 007-22.  It is not recommended to mount this capacitor on the MDF, so it
should be added to the output cable of the music equipment.
