Is it possible for the transmit FIFO to overflow and for cells to be discarded?
A.7.1
No. If the transmit FIFO has become full because the UTOPIA interface cannot transmit any more cells, cell data
is not read. When the transmit FIFO has a vacancy, reading data is resumed.
