Preliminary User’s Manual U14581EJ3V0UM00

(3) Port mode register 0 (PM0)

This register is used to specify the input/output of port 0 in 1-bit units.

When using the P03/SCK2, P04/SO2, and P05/SI2 pins in the 3-wire serial I/O mode, set PM03 to PM05 as shown

in Table 14-2 below. Set the output latches of P03 to P05 to 0.

PM0 is set with a 1-bit or 8-bit memory manipulation instruction.

RESET input sets PM0 to FFH.
