M166 CE Manual

 

 

 

 

Set the settings according to the screen capture above.  

4. 

If you want to start from the settings in the Template file  (  

.166

)  that you have 

created in 

chapter 2 Setting up a Template

, read in this Template file. If you do not 

have this file anymore, start with the default settings in the DECT Handset 
Configurator. Please note that it is not possible to read out the settings from the 
M166.  

5. 

Go through the settings. Use the explanation in 

chapter 2 Setting up a Template

. 

Make the changes in the settings according to the customers’ requirements. 

6. 

Enter the name and the number of the handset. 

The number is the extension number 

to which the configuration settings are sent.

  

7. 

After you have made the changes, send the configuration to the 166 via the menu 
item: 

Messaging

 

 

Send

, or 

the small “Send” icon in the tools bar.
