Disassembly and Reassembly

Install the CR-ROM drive and floppy disk drive into the replacement
bracket assembly following procedures previously described in this chapter.

Insert the Floppy Disk/CD-ROM assembly straight into the flex bay. See
Figure 4-74.

Power on the server and verify the replacement module board is working
properly.

Replacing a Chassis Handle

Perform the following steps to replace the left or right chassis handle.

Observe the safety and ESD precautions listed under General Information
and Static Precautions at the beginning of this chapter.

Perform the steps in "Preparing Your System for Upgrade" described earlier
in this chapter.

Extend the server out of the rack.

Remove the two screws securing the right or left handle to the server
chassis. Save the screws. The right handle is shown in Figure 4-76.

Install the replacement handles using the two screws removed in Step 4.

Release the slide rail catches and push the server into the rack.

Install the front bezel.
