Writing and Sending a Message
The following describes the operations related to writing and sending a message.
Basic Operations
The basic operations for writing and sending a message are shown below:
To Write and Send a New Text Message
Reset Settings
Resets all message related settings in e808 (not the USIM card).
Reset Message
Resets all message related settings in e808 and deletes all
messages, headers and endings.

for Text message

On the
Create Msg
displayed, select
Text Message

New messages
is displayed.

Input the message text

Message
, input the message and press the
Enter
key
(160 characters max.).

Set the addressee
Select
To
, input the addressee’s phone number and press the
Enter
key.

Setting
the addressee from the contact entries
on page 68.

Send the message
Press the
SK1 (Send)
key.
The message is sent and saved in the
Sent Items
.
