Making a Voice Call
Voice calls can be made by directly inputting numbers using the keypad, or by using the Calls Made list, Calls
Received list, contact list or Quick Recall function. A maximum of 32 keypad characters (0-9,
Q
and #), p for
pause (press and hold #) and + (press and hold 0) can be used to make a call. The following shows the
display images of phone number input:
When the USIM card supports Alternate Line Service (ALS), the call will be made from the selected ALS line
number. (Refer to
Select ALS Line
on page 97 for details.)
When a call is made and e808 has an active outgoing call barring setting, the call will be rejected. When the
receiver of a call has incoming call barring setting active, the call will also be rejected. In both cases the
reason the call was rejected will be displayed as a message on the screen. (Refer to
Call Barring
on page
104 for details.)
Rejected calls may only be diverted to voicemail.
