Switching Between the Desktop Multiline Telephone and the
Cordless Telephone Using the Base Unit

When the D

term

Cordless II is associated with a multiline telephone the

following is applicable:

Switching between cordless and desk mode must be done while both
telephones are idle.

A call in progress cannot be switched between the D

term

Cordless II

and the associated

multiline telephone

Switching held calls between the D

term

Cordless II and the associated

multiline telephone

is not recommended since line key LED indications

will not be provided.

Use the base unit on the D

term

Cordless II to switch between the D

term

Cordless II and the multiline telephone.

To perform switching:

Press Cordless to select the D

term

Cordless II.

- OR -

Press Desk to select the Multiline Telephone. (Refer to

Figure 4-2 Cordless

and Desk Buttons

The D

term

display indicates DESK TEL when the multiline telephone is

connected.
