Before installing batteries, refer to

Chapter 1 Specifications and Safety

Information, Section 2 Battery Safety on page 1-2

. It is important to follow

safety regulations when handling batteries.

1.

Remove the battery cover by pressing the latch and sliding the cover
down and off of the handset.

2.

Slide the battery pack down into the handset.

It may be necessary to remove the old battery at this time.
