Call Forwarding Off Premise
Connection Errors When Call Forwarded to DIL
If an extension is Off Premise Call Forwarded to their DIL, and a call rings in on the DIL, the sys-
tem will route the incoming call to the DIL overflow destination. Overflow is set up in 1003-Day
Overflow Destination. If no overflow is programmed, the incoming call diverts to Key Ring. In
software version 2.10.09, the system would attempt to route the outgoing call over the incoming
DIL, resulting in connection errors.
System Reset After Upgrade
Software version 02.10.12 corrects a problem with Call Forwarding Off Premise that could cause
resets in a system that was upgraded from a prior software version and not initialized. If Call For-
warding Off Premise attempts caused the system to reset, the only workaround was to:
1.
Power down the system.
2.
Remove the CPU battery for several minutes.
3.
Power the system back up.
Note: A Direct Inward Line (DIL) to an extension that is Call Forwarded Off Premise uses its own
Toll Level (1001-Trunk Toll Restriction Level) and Class of Service (1001-Trunk Class of Ser-
vice Assignment) when enforcing Toll Restriction. It does not use the extension’s Toll Level and
Class of Service.
Callback
Callback Cancel Available
After a keyset user leaves a Callback at a busy extension, they can hang up and dial
#

DC
(32) to
delete (cancel) the Callback. If the user has left callbacks for several extensions, this code will
simultaneously cancel all their Callbacks.

A system internal timer has been modified to increase the accuracy of Caller ID.
