Status Restored After Reset Or Power Down
An extension’s Call Forwarding will be reinstated after a power down or system reset. For example,
an extension with calls forwarded immediately to Voice Mail will still be forwarded to Voice Mail
after the system resets or is powered down and then powered back up.
Caller ID Logging
New Default - All Keysets In Caller ID Logging Group 1
To simplify Caller ID operation in DS1000, all keyset extensions by default are now in Caller ID
Logging Group 1. Since all keysets share a common group log, deleting a record at one keyset will
automatically update the log for all others. Following is the updated default programming for exten-
sions 300-315:
●
1807-Caller ID Log Type = 2 (group logging)
●
1807-Caller ID Logging Group = 1 (group 1)
Conference
Multiple Parties Cannot Place Conference On Hold
If an extension user places a Conference on Hold, no other participants can place the Conference on
Hold, split it, or terminate it.
Directed Call Pickup
Pickup Of Additional Call Types
Directed Call Pickup will now pick up any type of call ringing the destination extension. In prior
software versions, Directed Call Pickup would not intercept:
●
Ringing Call Coverage key calls.
●
Ringing Group Call Pickup key calls.
●
Calls ringing the operator’s Call Queue key.
Do Not Disturb
Soft Keys Reordered
The soft keys for Do Not Disturb are reordered so that they match the order of their numeric equiv-
alents (0=Off, 1=External, 2=Intercom, 3=All).
