Scroll to the end of the file and proceed as follows:
Look for the category line [COMMON]. If it is not
listed, add it. If it is listed, go to the next bullet.
Under Common, position the cursor after the last line
and add the following line.
DEVICE=C:\DOS\POWER.EXE

From the file menu, press
Alt-F
and
s
to save your
changes.
4.
Press
Alt-F
and
x
to exit.
The next time you use the diskette to boot the system and
start an application, power management features are
enabled.
Windows 95
For Windows 95 systems, change the diskette start up files
as follows:
1.
Left click on the Windows 95 Start Menu and select
Accessories. Left click Notepad.
2.
Insert the boot disk into drive A:.
3.
Select File from the menu at the top of the screen. Left
click Open.
4.
Left click on the Look in: directory window and select
3
Floppy (A:). Make sure the “Files of type” window
reads “All Files (*.*).”
5.
Select config.sys to open the file.
6.
Scroll to the end of the file and proceed as follows:
