A private key is used to encrypt the data portion the message being sent. The private key is generated from
the privacy password that must be at least 8 characters in length.
7.3.20. Slave Unit
For capture or streaming of two hi-def media streams a pair of encoders may be synchronized using a
master/slave relationship between the encoders. One encoder is designated Master and the other responds
as a Slave. This setup window allows identification of the Slave unit to be controlled by this recorder:

For centralized log management and to implement long-term retention of the system logs of the recorders a
