Driving Controls
ACCELERATION
To make the vehicle go faster depress the accelerator
pedal (A) with your right foot , this will increase the
revs of the engine.
To increase speed select a higher gear, press the red
button on the side of the gear selector lever select the
gear required by pushing the lever to the correct
position, then release the button. Always remove your
foot from the accelerator pedal when changing gear.
SLOWING DOWN / STOPPING
To slow down remove your foot from the accelerator
pedal, then depress the brake pedal (B) at force which gives you the desired rate of
retardation.
TO STEER THE DUMPER
Use steering wheel (C) to control direction of vehicle
from left to right (operate steering wheel with hands
only). The vehicle pivots about the centre of the
machine.
SKIP CONTROL
Use the lever (D) to control the motion of the skip.
•
To tip the skip pull the lever back away from the
skip.
•
To lower the skip push the lever forward toward the
skip.
•
To swivel skip right first tip up to clear lock then pull
lever right.
•
To swivel skip left first tip up to clear lock then pull
lever left.
•
If the skip control lever is released it will return to
the neutral position.

The handbrake should not be used as a normal means of slowing the
vehicle. In normal operation the handbrake should only be applied when
the vehicle is fully stationery.
ONLY IF THE NORMAL BRAKES FAIL USE THE HANDBRAKE TO
SLOW DOWN IN AN EMERGENCY.
