1.1 Glossary
PBC (playback control)
It is a kind of signal(menu) recorded in the disc with SVCD or VCD2.0
format used for the playback control. For the discs contained PBC, It can
playback interactive software with the menu displayed on TV. And if the
disc contain still images, it can playback high definition of still image.
Title
Generally, the title is the important part of DVD disc. for example, the
theme part of movie is title 1, the part described how to make movie is title
2, the cast is title 3, etc. Every title contain a serial number that is easy to
lookup.
Chapter
A title can be divided into several blocks, so that every block can be operated
as a unit, the unit is called chapter. The chapter contain a unit at least.
Track
It is the biggest component of VCD. Generally, every song of karaoke disc
is a track.
1.2 Precautions
Safety
1. Power Source: The unit should be connected to power supply only of
the type described in the operating instructions or as marked on the unit.
2. The unit is designed for negative terminal of the battery which is
connected to the vehicle metal. Please confirm it before installation.
3. Do not allow the speaker wires to be shorted together when the unit is
switched on. Otherwise it may overload or burn out the power amplifier.
4. Do not install the detachable panel before connecting the wire.
5. The protective case is to safely keep the front panel(see the photo).
1. Do not use this unit when water and moisture is near it.
2. If moisture forms inside the Lens, it may not operate properly. To correct
this problem, wait about one hour for the moisture to evaporate.
3. If the car interior is extremely hot, do not use the player until the car has
been driven for a while to cool off the interior.

6. The Trouble Shooting
Please re ad the user s manual care fully before using the DVD play er. If you have any troubles
in u sing th is player, try to solve the problems by the su ggest ions mention ed below. If you can
not remove the trouble after using all the suggestions, please contact the company or the
technical servic e center authorized by us . For the sak e of your safety, please d o not o pen the
cover and repair the player b y yourself, if that, it may c ause electric shock.
NO PICTURE, SOUND AND INDICATION
* Ensure that the power switch is o n.
* Ensure that the wall inlet is ok.
* Ensure that the power cor d is not dama ged or the fu se is not blo wn.
* Ensure that the power plu g is co nnected to the inlet tightly.
NO SOUND BUT HAVE PICT URE
* Ensure that the player s audio ou tput h as a good connection wit h TV s audio input.
* Check whether the audio connec tor is damag ed.
* Check whether you have turned down the volume.
* Ensure that y ou hav e set the righ t AUDIO set up of the player.
* Ensure that the audio is no t unde r mute.
NO PICTURE BUT HAVE SO UND
* Ensure that the player s video ou tput h as a good connection wit h TV s video input.
* Ensure that y ou hav e turn ed you r TV to the AV input channel connectin g to your player.
* Check whether the video connector is damaged.
* Ensure that y ou hav e set the righ t VIDEO set tings o f the player.
BLACK AND WHITE PICTURE OR SCREEN RO LLING
* Ensure that y ou hav e set the righ t TV SYSTEM (e.g. PAL, NTSC) setting.
FLAWS OF PICTURE OR SOUND
* Check whether the setting of AUDIO is right.
* Check whether the disc is scratched or staine d.
* Check whether the AV con nector and the output terminal is stain ed.
* Check whether ther e is condensation inside the Lens. If so, leave the player off for an hour
or so, t hen try again.
* Check whether the installa tion angle is less than 30 .
DISPLAY NO DISC OR BAD DISC
* Ensure that y ou hav e put t he disc on the tray.
* Check whether the disc is put in the rev erse side.
* Check whether the disc is distor ted.
* Check whether the disc is staine d or scratche d bad ly.
* Ensure that the disc forma t is compatib le to the player.
* Ensure that the tem peratu re inside the car is not too high. If so, cool off until the ambient
temperature returns to normal.
* Replace another disc to in sert it into the disc compa rtment.
REMOTE CONT ROL I S INSENSIT IVE OR DOES NOT WOR K
* Check the batteries of remote control and make sure that they a re to b e powerful a nd
g ood co nductivity.
* Direct the remote control to the IR sens or of t he pla yer.
* Check whether ther e are some o bstacles bet ween the rem ote control and IR sensor.
SOME FUNCTION BUTTON S DO NOT WORK
* Turn off the power, then tu rn on again.
* Reset t he unit to zero, the n turn on again.
* Remove the f ront panel fro m the unit, then install it again and th en turn on again.
THE RADIO DO ES NOT WO RK
* Check whether the antenna cable is connected firmly. Or manua lly tune for a station.
