Configuring the Navigation System
The
S
ETTINGS
window is the starting point for customising the
navigation system to match your personal preferences.
For details of how to select and configure a route profile refer to the
chapter "Route Profiles" on page 65.
Settings can be reached via the
(More) button in the
N
AVIGATION
window and in many other windows of the navigation
application.

In the
N
AVIGATION
window tap on
(More).
The
S
ETTINGS
window opens.
The settings of the navigation application are divided into two main
categories:
System Settings: Here you can make the settings for operating the
navigation device. You can also select which information you want to
have displayed on the device and in which format you want it
presented.
Navigation Settings: Here you can make settings for the map and for
the map presentation and can select the information you want shown
during navigation.

Tap on a button to open the corresponding settings window.
The settings in the

windows are divided into sub-categories (e.g. General, Language and
Keyboard, Map Display).

Tap on a button to open the corresponding settings window.
You can use the
(Up) and
(Down) buttons to scroll
through the list page by page.
Some settings can adopt only the values Yes or No. These settings can
be recognised by the checkbox alongside the setting.
If the checkbox is activated
, the value is Yes.
If the checkbox is deactivated
, the value is No.
