HarbourPilot Mk 5 setup
For accurate Heading the Master ( smaller round) and Slave ( larger with
aerial) Antennas should line up as closely as possible ideally either Athwart
ships or Fore and Aft for a simple setup.
On Flat steel rails, the magnetic bases of the antennas will hold them
securely
Round rails can be accommodated using the adjustable rubber strap and
clip mechanisms
Make a note of the position
of the HarbourPilot Mk5 Master Antenna
referencing the
bridge/bow beam datum marks
.
This information will be entered into PPU Software in relation to Heading
Offset adjustment.
