7. Hoisting the sails
A. Jib
Attach the jib halyard to head of the sail with shackle. Attach the front leach of the sail
with straps. The tack of the sail is attached with jib cunningham as shown below. The jib
cuningham is finally tide to shackle at the line that controls the rig tension, which can be
found in middle of the distance between bow and triple blocks. Jib cuningham controls
how high is the jib set.
