To introduce the rig tension to main shrouds and forestay tide the triple block on the
starboard side.
5. Attaching gennaker pole
Lead the gennaker pole through the slides on the bow of the boat.
Gennaker pole is equipped with two ropes
– tack line (lead through the pole) and the
launching line
– fixe to the whole at the end of the pole. Tack line is fixed with the shackle to
heel step.
Tack line controls at the same time how far the pole can be launched. The correct
dimension is 310cm from front side of the mast to the end of the launched pole.
