5. Insert the
SERVICE ENTRANCE KEY
(‘A’ key) into the ac power entrance (see "Guidelines (1):
ac power entrance panel", on page 2-128 ) and turn the key clockwise. Move the safety
interlock switch or the ac power entrance’s breaker to the
ON
position.
Guidelines (1): ac power entrance panel
Operation rules:
• With ac power entrance breaker in the “closed” (ON) position, the “A” key is sealed in the
lock.
• When the breaker is moved to the “open” (OFF) position, the”A” key can be removed.
• When the “A” key is removed, the breaker is locked in the “open” (OFF) position.
Guidelines (2): antenna ground switch
Operation rules:
• At the antenna ground switch, the “B” key is sealed in the lock and the switch is locked in the
“open” (OFF) position.
• The action of inserting the “A” key into the antenna ground switch allows the switch to be
moved to the “closed” (ON) position, grounding the RF feed to the antenna.
• With the switch “closed” (ON), the “B” key can be removed. When the “B” key is removed,
the antenna ground switch is locked in the “closed” (ON) position and the “A” key is sealed
in the lock.
Guidelines (3): transfer case
Operation rules:
• The “B” key is used to release the access-lock keys (“C” keys) from the transfer case.
• When a “C” key is removed the “B” key is sealed in the lock.
