Disabling the Top Plate's Touch-Sensitivity

You can disable the touch-sensitivity of the top plate for the JOG mode. This enables you to also
use the top plate to bend or nudge the track tempo.

To disable the touch-sensitivity:

•

Press the

JOG

button.

The

JOG

button now illuminates red indicating the touch-sensitivity of that top plate is disa-

bled. When you press the

JOG

button again, the touch-sensitivity is re-enabled.

When you disable the touch-sensitivity of the top plate, you cannot perform backspins. Also, the
haptic feedback options in the Preferences do not apply.

Adjusting the Jog Wheel Spinning Tension

You can adjust the spinning tension for the Jog Wheel:

Press and hold the

JOG

button and turn the Jog Wheel clockwise to raise the tension.

The Jog Wheel's tension raises.

Press and hold the

JOG

button and turn the Jog Wheel counterclockwise to loosen the ten-

sion.
The Jog Wheel's tension gets loose.

Release the

JOG

button at the desired Jog Wheel tension.

You can adjust the tension also in the Preferences.

7.2.3. Using Jog Wheels in Turntable Mode

This section introduces you the several interactions you can perform with the Jog Wheels when
used in Turntable mode. In

mode (Turntable mode) the Jog Wheels behave like the platters of

conventional DJ turntables. When the

mode is enabled, the Jog Wheel will rotate during track

playback.
