to a Third-Party Power Supply

Connect and secure the 15-pin D-SUB connector on your cable to the POWER-I/O connector on
the NI 17
xx
.
2.
Connect the +24 V signal from the NI 17
xx
POWER-I/O connector to the corresponding signal on
the power supply.
Figure 3 shows the pin locations for the POWER-I/O connector and Table 1 lists the signal names
and pin numbers for the POWER-I/O connector. Table 1 also lists wire colors for the National
Instruments 15-pin D-SUB pigtail cable. Cables from another vendor may have different wire
colors.
