Combined Function Operations

Multi-Access

You can carry out another job using a different function while the current job is
being performed. Performing multiple functions simultaneously like this is
called “Multi-Access”.
This allows you to handle jobs efficiently, regardless of how the machine is being
used. For example:
• While making copies, you can scan documents to store in the Document Serv-

er.

• While printing documents saved in the Document Server, the machine can re-

ceive print data.

• While printing print data, you can set coppying operations.

Note

You can set the priority of functions, see p.64 “Print Priority”. As default, the
“Display Mode” is set to first priority.
