3. MANINTENANCE AND CLEANING
The forging machine NARGESA PC16 will require our attention in the maintenance section in the following
points:
- Hydraulic Maintenance
- Lubrication
- Cleaning
- Adjusting the Guides
- Setting of brake
3.1. Hydraulic maintenance
Since PC16 NARGESA forging machine has hydraulic mechanisms will its oil container won’t need to be
periodically checked up. For this purpose the container is provided with a sightglass (1) that allows us to
observe the oil level. The machine must be always stopped in order to checkup the level..
In the event that the level is low, it will be filled with hydraulic oil HM 68 (2) until the oil is visible through the
peephole (1) (about half of the sight glass). Level reviews are recommended to be done at least 1 once
every 3 months.
