The software 8059-SW02

Connect the area monitor to the computer and launch the software.

In the first window you can see the button change with the indication of port you are using to communicate

with he area monitor.

As default it is set on the first available COM port of your computer.

Press it in case you need to change the port.

Leave the check on the COMM and from the drop down menu choose the connection you are using

with the area monitor. Remember that in case you are using an USB/RS232 adaptor it is normally

indicated as “Prolific USB-to-Serial COMM Port (COMx)”.

In this example we are using USB connection that is normally indicated as “TI MSP430 USB (COMx)”.
