Car Mounting Kit

The car mounting kit allows to have a fast monitoring of a big area. It consists to use an area monitor 

model 8059-00, with a magnetised adapter placed on the roof of a car.

With  a  direct  connection  through  a  optical  fiber  it  is  possible  to  record  data  like  values  and  GPS 

coordinates. In a second moment the track can be visualized on a map with graphic indications about 

the field values.

Unscrew the area monitor from its basement and place it on the car mounting kit.

Insert the USB-Optical adaptor in the computer and wait for the automatic driver installation. 

Now connect the area monitor to the computer with the 10 m optical fiber and switch it on.

Now launch the software NardaEMFGPSLogger.exe

For further explanation consult the User’s Manual chapter 10.

BEWARE!

Contrary to the previous software, the NardaEMFGPSLogger does not need a 

special installation “Run as administartor”, also the area monitor is automatically 

recognized by the software without giving any indication about the used port. 

Remember to have the area monitor switched on, before to run this software and just 

one USB/OC adaptor. 

The USB/OC adaptor has a FTDI chipset inside,  it would be better to remove  any other peripheals 

with the same chipset connected to the PC.

Always use, at least, a 10 m optical fiber.
