3.7 battery installation
1. Remote the right access panel from the side of the appliance.
2. Remove the 2 screws from the inside edge
(Fig. 3-5)
and swing the control door open.

Ensure the 3 position slider switch
is in the "REMOTE" position (middle
position).
note:
If your opening is too small, you may need to pull the appliance out slightly.

3. Remove the 2 screws holding the receiver in place.
4. Pull the receiver through the access hole and replace.

4 AA batteries must be installed into the receiver before the appliance can operate by battery backup. The re-
ceiver is located in the bottom right corner of the appliance
(Fig. 3-4)

1. Remove the battery cover plate by pushing the two tabs that hold the cover in place.
2. Remove the 4 AA batteries in the battery holder and replace with new ones.
3. Reinstall the cover plate.
note:
Note the polarity of the batteries and insert as indicated on the cover (+/-).
