6-1030A

Rev. 09/09/19

PLEASE REVIEW ALL WARNING INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO OPERATION. SAVE THIS MAN U AL FOR FUTURE REF ER ENCE.

Always turn off the air supply, drain
hose of air pressure and detach tool
from air supply before installing,
removing or adjusting any part or
accessory on this tool, or before per-
forming any maintenance on this tool.

The thread size of the shaft (or adapter)
must match the size  of the eraser wheel
holder.

After mounting a new eraser wheel, start
the tool under bench and run for a few
seconds. If the tool starts to vibrate when
first fitting a new eraser wheel or during
operation, immediately remove from ser-
vice. If tool is dropped, inspect wheel for
any damage and if so, replace the eraser
wheel.

When using the tool, be careful not to
exert excessive force which could be
hazardous and cause the shaft (or adapt-
er) to bend or break. The burning if the
work piece or excessive speed reduction
indicates too much force being applied

NOTE:  During operation, safety gog-
gles should always be worn to guard
against flying debris (users and
bystanders).

Eraser wheels can be mounted providing

their speed rating exceeds the rating of

the tool.

Correct eraser wheel mounting is neces-

sary to prevent injury. Grip output shaft

(or adapter) using supplied wrench and

tighten eraser wheel to prevent spin off

when the tool is turned off.

DO NOT use damaged or excessively

worn eraser wheels.  Using damaged or

excessively worn eraser wheels will result

in (Holder Washer - Ref #40) to make

contact with work surface resulting in

damage to work or paint.

ALWAYS replace excessively worn eraser

wheels with "recommended" eraser

wheels.

Use accessories rated at 2,600

RPM or  higher

.

Never use grinding wheels, wire

brushes, cut-off wheels or drill bits

on this tool.
