Safe way to remove the battery from the equipment:
To remove the old battery, follow the
steps on page 10 in reverse order to the assembly. To prevent contamination of the environ-
ment and bring on possible threat to human and animal health, the old battery should be put in
the appropriate container at designated collection points. Do not dispose of batteries with
other waste. The battery should not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the
like.
Correct handling of batteries:
Improper or incorrect use of batteries may cause corrosion or
battery leakage, which could cause fire, personal injury or damage to property. Use only the
type of batteries which are indicated in this manual. Small batteries such as the ones used in
the remote control are easily swallowed by young children and this can be dangerous. Keep
loose batteries away from young children and make sure the battery holder tray is secure in the
remote control. Seek medical advice if you believe a battery has been swallowed.
CAUTION:
This unit is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without
supervision. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the unit.
If the unit is supplied from a cord extension set or an electrical portable outlet device, the cord
extension set on electrical portable outlet device must be positioned so that it is not subject to
splashing or ingress of moisture.
