USB MODE
The C 565BEE can play back MP3/WMA files stored in external USB
(Universal Serial Bus) devices. The following are the C 565BEE’s capabilities
with respect to USB device playability.

LISTENING TO USB DEVICE

Toggle [SOURCE] button to select “USB” mode. If no external USB device
is connected to the front panel’s USB input, “No USB” will be displayed
in the VFD. If there are no applicable MP3/WMA files available in the
external USB, the VFD will show “USB Empty”.

Plug-in the external USB device to the USB input – “USB Reading” will be
blinking in the VFD and then the total number of files will displayed.

Press [ ] to start playback.
SELECTING DIRECTORIES OR FILES
The following are the steps on how to select a desired directory and MP3 or
WMA file at stop mode.

Connect the external USB device to the front panel’s USB input. Toggle
[SOURCE] button to select “USB” mode.

Press [FOLDER
] to select desired folder. Press [ENTER].

Press [FILE
] to select desired file number.

Press [ENTER] to start playback. Toggle CD 9’s [DISP] button to show
information about the current file.

NOTE
Do not disconnect the USB flash drive during playback. It may cause
damage to the C 565BEE.
OPTICAL INPUT MODE
The C 565BEE is equipped with an optical digital input. This makes it
possible for other external digital sources to make use of C 565BEE as a top
quality digital-to-analog converter. The C 565BEE accepts audio data only at
this optical input port and can handle up to 192 kHz/24 bit signals.
LISTENING TO OPTICAL INPUT

Toggle [SOURCE] button to select “Optical Input” mode. If no source
component is connected at the rear panel OPTICAL DIGITAL AUDIO
IN port or if the source is not supplying a signal, the VFD will display
“UNLOCKED”. If the source supplies a non-valid data such as compressed
format, Dolby Digital or DTS audio signal, the VFD will display “Not
Support”; only audio data is supported.

When the C 565BEE detects a valid digital audio input, the VFD will
show the audio format and the current sample rate. Toggle CD 9’s [SRC]
button if you would like to change the sample rate of the input signal.

Audio available from the connected external digital source will now be
the active input.
