Tips and Advices on Auto Play mode
1
Playback range in the Auto Play is from the starting point specified with the PLAY POSITION to the
last frame. If you want to stop the playback in the middle of Block, double-click STOP button on
the slow controller, so that the LOCK mark disappears and the camera starts playing back the next
Block. Double-clicking STOP buttons on the side panel of the camera head and the J-Pad2 are
invalid.
2
If there is no Block to play (not yet played), the camera stands by until the recorded Block is ready.
3
Basically the camera starts playing back the recorded Blocks automatically from the oldest Block
with LOCK mark. cannot be locked or unlocked.
4
“LOCK AFTER REC” is forced to turn ON and prohibited to turn it OFF. Also an individual Block
cannot be locked or unlocked.
5
All the Blocks are unlocked when the Auto Play mode is turned ON from OFF. The unlocked Blocks
remain unlocked even if the mode is turned OFF again.
6
The camera automatically plays back the recorded Blocks that are recorded after the Auto Play
mode is turned ON.
7
If there is no Block to play (not yet played), the recording Block becomes active and live images are
output from the REPLAY port (HD-SDI2). If there is no Block to play and no recording Block, the
camera stops at the Block played at last.
8
When the Auto Play mode is turned ON from OFF, the PLAY POSITION is forced to be START to
prevent erroneous operation. However the PLAY POSITION can be set to others later. If END or
CUSOTM >90% is selected, the starting point to playback is automatically set at the 150
th
frame to
the last frame.
9
Automatic playback starts when PLAY button is pressed while the Auto Play mode is ON.
In the Auto Play mode, playback-related operations, such as REW , STOP , FWD buttons,
JOG wheel, T-bar, VAR are valid in the same Block. In order to move to the next Block to play
(not yet played) automatically, press PLAY button.
10 If any Block is selected with the numerical keypad and PLAY button is pressed, the camera
starts playing back the selected Block. At that time, all the recorded Blocks in-between are skipped
and not played.
11 Setting of the Auto Play mode (ON or OFF) remains when the camera is rebooted. Default setting
of the Auto Play mode is OFF.
12 During the Loop Playback operation with J-Pad2 or the side panel of the camera head, the local
operation has a priority over the Auto Play.
