Care and maintenance instructions
Check the swing before every usage; following circumstances may be a source of hazard if not taken care of.
•
The hook and springs of the swing have to be oiled regularly. Check the swing hooks and rings for rusty parts which could affect their
durability. If in doubt please replace both.
•
Check the swing seats, chains, ropes and other accessories for any signs of deterioration, cracks or breaches.
•
Check the swing ropes for sings of fraying or extreme attrition due to twisting the swing. Release the swing of tension in order to carefully
check for any defective rope part. If in doubt, please replace the rope. Replacement parts need to fulfil the very same requirements as
the original ones.
•
Check whether all nuts and screws are firmly tightened and adjust them if necessary.
•
Make sure the swing is dry when storing it. Do not expose the stored swing to direct sunlight.
•
At the beginning of each season as well as regularly during the season, please follow the maintenance guidelines.
