Safety instructions
Please read and follow all safety information and instructions. As with most sporty leisure activities, there is certain risk of injury for the people
involved. This chapter deals with the most common causes of accidents and how supervisors and users can avoid such accidents.
•
Always remain in the middle of the swing net, otherwise injuries might occur
by bumping against the frame. Pay attention to the fact that
the foamed cappings are in good condition covering the ring completely. Close possible gaps by pulling the respective foamed cappings
into place. Losing control increases the users’ chance of injury. Therefore do not swing too high in order to avoid falling down and the
resulting injuries.
•
Please make sure that no one is standing behind or in front of the swing whilst in use. A high risk of injury would be the result.
•
In order to avoid injuries take care that no fingers or other body parts are put through the rope. Always supervise any child using the
swing.
•
The swing may not be used as a hammock - the maximum inclination is 45 degrees.
•
Make sure that nobody jumps onto the swing or is hopping around on it. Users should always climb carefully on the swing.
•
Before every usage carefully check the swing, the construction, the rings and the suspension for signs of corrosion or any other form of
attrition. Safe seating must always be guaranteed. Examine the swing for holes and sharp edges and rusty metal parts or worn out ropes.
Please follow the care and maintenance instructions.
•
The owners and supervisors are responsible for informing all users about safe usage according to these instructions.
