8. Operation
Ensure that the electrical supply is switched on.
8.1. Heating
Set the Heating switch to the red disc position position, see Fig. 6.
Set the Power switch to either 2 kW or 1 kW as required, see Fig. 6. The fan will operate at the appropriate speed for
the element selected. The Fan Speed switch does not operate in these conditions.
DO NOT COVER THE UNIT OR OBSTRUCT THE GRILLE AREA. IF COVERED THERE IS A RISK OF FIRE.
8.2. Temperature control
If a room thermostat is connected to control the Kickspace, its setting should be gradually adjusted to obtain the required
temperature. Use the Power switch at 2 kW (
II
) or 1 kW (
I
) as required, see Fig. 6, to increase or decrease the heat output of
the unit.
8.3. Air circulation
If required, the Kickspace can be used in Summer for air circulation without heat.
Set the Heating switch to the blue disc position, (if a remote room thermostat is fitted, set it to its highest setting).
Set the Fan Speed switch to either Boost (
) or Low position (
), see Fig. 6, to select the required speed.
9. MAINTENANCE
Isolate the electrical supply.
Maintenance should be restricted to occasional removal of dust and lint around the unit. Any further maintenance should be
carried out by a qualified engineer.
In case of further service requirements, contact your supplier.
