Guidelines for correct battery use
The battery can be charged through USB port. However, this is not the recommended
method of charging with phone turned on because USB ports offer low voltage and the
battery may continue to discharge despite being plugged into a power source. If you
want to charge the battery that way, turn off the device. If the battery level is low,
charge it to continue using the device. If you want to extend the battery’s lifetime,
allow it to discharge below 20% and then completely recharge it.
If you are not using the charger, plug it off the outlet. Overcharging may decrease the
battery’s lifetime.
Temperature of the charger may affect charging efficiency. Before beginning to
charge the battery it can be cooled down or warmed up in order to reach approximate
level of the ambient temperature. If battery temperature exceeds 40 degrees, it must
not be charged!
Do not use damaged batteries!
Battery lifetime may decrease if it is exposed to very low or very high temperatures.
This causes interferences to device’s operation even if the battery has been charged
correctly.
