5�1 Pressure type fuel tank lid
Purpose
To solve the problem of difficulty to start the generator for the first use or in a cold environment.
Principles
This device will add pressure to the fuel system through pressure type fuel tank lid so that the fuel can reach the carburettor
quickly to accelerate the starting processing of the generator.
Steps to follow:
1. Make sur that the fuel and engine lubrication is adequate and the switch is at ON position.
2. Fasten the tank lid till the knob indicates to OFF.
3. Pull the piston rod to the end/top and then push it down for 3-4 cycles/times.
4. Start the generator for 1-2 times and then the generator may start.
5. When the generator starts, reset (put back) the tank lid indicator to ON.
Precautions
• After the generator starts, make sure that the tank lid indicator is (put back to ON) at position. Otherwise, after a long run
of the generator, there will be lack of air which will cause the generator stop.
• In future operations, please repeat above steps.
6 Usage of the engine
If all the installations that connected have been earthed, make sure to earth the engine.
WARNING!
• In order to prevent getting an electric shock because of incorrect operation, the engine should be earthed. The earth
port of the engine and the outside earth source are connected by a thick cable.
• As spare electrical source for buildings, the connection between generator and other electric power system must be
operated by professional electricians. And the operation must comply with the related laws and electric regulations.
Otherwise, the current of the engine may feed back to the public circuit. In this case, if the workers from electric
power company or other people touch the wire when transmitting electricity, they may be shocked by electricity to
death. On the other hand, when public electricity power is stored, the engine may burn, explode or cause fire to the
building’s electric power system.
