8  Special caution for attention 

Chuck sliding adjustment

Please scan the following QR code, to get a video instruction on how to install chuck.

Direction: Clockwise increase the torque.

              Counterclockwise reduce the torque.

Note about Servo Motor

•  Please do not pull the wire of servo motor heavily

• 

If you find the temperature is too high or motor not responding, please do not open the lid or dismount any parts of servo 

motor by yourself, please contact your local dealer or contact manufacturer.

Speed/Depth setting

While setting the speed or depth, please power OFF the machine first and then set it as instructed. Do not set/adjust the 

parameters when the machine is working.

9  Common faults and solutions

Error code

Reason

Solution

E-01

Motor overload

The inverter is protecting the motor from overload. Check and 

reduce the load. Increase the running speed of motor. Increase 

acceleration/deceleration times.

E-02

Sensor damage

Check control terminal wiring. Contact your dealer to change the 

sensor.

E-03

Under voltage

Check mains power supply voltage and connections. Check 

correct supply for inverter being used. Monitor for mains dips or 

interruptions.

E-04

Over voltage

Load inertia is too large and the motor is regenerating. Increase 

deceleration time.

Connect an external braking resistor and set.

Check braking resistor and wiring.

E-05

Over current

Check output for short-circuit or ground fault.

The load is too large, reduce it or use larger inverter. Check motor 

FLA rating compared to inverter and setting

E-06

Motor/Driver damage

Check the connect wire and plug. Contact service after service from 

dealer to replace the motor or driver. Do not open the motor without 

authorization.

AUTO/MANUAL

Automatic mode is obligatory while tapping blind holes/

bigger size holes.

Manual mode is preferable when tapping through holes for

smaller holes.

Under Manual Mode, only

SPEF and

SPER can be set

and all other function will be manually operated.

Press ON/OFF key on control box and green light means

connected with power.

Under AUTO model, press FOR to start forward tapping and

reserve back aromatically, no need press EBR.

Under Manual model, press FOR key on the handle,forward

tapping to set depth, then press EBR key on the handle to reserve
back.

Press EBR key to stop machine urgently, if there are some

wrong setting or working.
