Disassemble Catalyst Injector
42. Remove the injector seal from the injector body.
43. Unscrew the plunger retainer from the end of the injector
plunger.
44. Remove the compression spring from the injector plunger.
45. Remove the injector plunger from the injector body.
46. Discard all parts to be replaced by the repair kit.
47. Thoroughly clean all remaining parts, inspect for damage and replace as necessary.
Reassembling the Gun
Assemble Gun Handle
1. Apply lubricant to springs and insert into the gun handle.
2. Thread the spring retainers over the springs and into the gun handle.
3. Slide the spring onto the end of the poppet assembly.
4. Insert the poppet assembly into the valve body.
5. Slide a new O-ring over the poppet assembly and secure with the packing retainer.
6. Screw the assembled valve body into the gun handle.
Assemble Gun Head
7. Install a new seal onto the plug and then thread the plug
into the gun head.
8. Reassemble the flush valve and install into the resin side of
the gun head.
9. Install the distribution ring into the mix housing.
10. Install a new O-ring into the mix housing.
11. Insert the catalyst injector assembly into the distribution
ring with the spring side facing you.
12. Attach the assembled mix housing to the gun head using the two cap screws.
